Tested Parameters List
1. TDR : Differential Impedance 2. TDR : Common Mode Impedance 3. TDR : Cable Pair Match Impedance 4. TDR : Intra Pair Skew (TDT Mode) 5. TDR : Risetime (TDT Mode)
Advantages
1. Lower Voltage
The level of voltage to the Serial ATA is differential 500 mV , it is more suitable for PC ' s technical request than the 5 Volt Parallel ATA , and also can save more power.
2.Pin Pitch
Serial ATA connector includes a line of 7Pin signal terminal and a line of 15 Pin power terminal . These two lines of terminals can be detached to the freestanding tie-in . So , it did not only reduce its body size , but also enlarge its transpositional space .
3. Transfering Speed
It almost has no potential to quicken the Parallel ATA 's transfering speed . But to the Serial ATA , the transfering speed for its incunabular design is 150MB/s , now it is striding forward to the speed of 300MB/s and even to 600MB/s .
