Install the replacement Hyundai and Kia OBD2 female connector at one end of the Y ends back to the original location of the OBD2 female diagnostic port in the car. Then you can connect a telematics or IoV device to the common OBD2 female connector at the other end of the Y ends. You can also connect another telematics or tuning device to the OBD2 female connector which was installed at the original location or leave this OBD2 female connector available for diagnostic use in the future. If you leave replacement Hyundai and Kia OBD2 female connector available and then hide the telematics or IoV device connected to the common OBD2 female connector, then nobody would know that you have installed these devices without opening the panel.
